Chapter 303 The Elemental Spirit's Request

Chapter 303 The Elemental Spirit's Request

After the crisis at the Spirit Crystal Mine was initially resolved, the expedition team was busy resting and recovering when a group of uninvited guests arrived. Surrounded by a faint glow, their figures were light and graceful, like the purest embodiment of nature—elemental spirits.

"Lord Yun Yi, we have come to you with an important request." The leading elemental spirit's voice was clear and melodious, yet it couldn't conceal her anxiety and worry. Her eyes, like clear spring water, now shone with an uneasy light.

Yun Yi raised his eyebrows slightly when he heard this. He motioned for everyone to be quiet, then asked softly, "What happened? Why are you so anxious?"

The elemental spirit took a deep breath and spoke slowly, "Recently, the curse within the mine has grown stronger, affecting not only the quality of the spirit crystals but also our home. Although we are elemental beings, we find it difficult to resist this evil force. Therefore, we come to seek your help, hoping that together we can find a way to lift the curse and save this mine."

Yun Yi's eyes grew serious upon hearing this. He knew that the elemental spirits were far more closely connected to nature than humans. If even they sensed the danger, then the situation was indeed not optimistic.

"We are willing to help." Yun Yi said without hesitation, "However, to lift such a curse, I am afraid we need to go deep into the unknown area of the mine, which is full of unknowns and dangers."

Upon hearing this, the elemental spirit's eyes flashed with gratitude. "We know this is difficult, but we are willing to fight alongside you and face all challenges together," she said firmly.

As a result, the two sides quickly reached a cooperation agreement. The expedition team members and the elemental elves gathered together to discuss the specific action plan.

"According to our perception, the source of the curse seems to be hidden in the deepest part of the mineral vein," another elemental elf said, her fingers lightly tracing the air as if drawing an invisible map. "However, a layer of mysterious runes blocks it, preventing us from approaching."

Arya's eyes flickered with curiosity. "Rune? Let me see." She stepped forward, carefully listening to the elemental's description, and then began to silently calculate the method to decipher the rune.

After some thought, Arya finally came to a conclusion. "These runes seem to be related to ancient elemental magic. I might be able to decipher them," she said confidently, but a hint of caution flashed in her eyes. "However, deciphering the runes could trigger unknown mechanisms. We must be fully prepared."

Kevin and Feng Wuhen smiled at each other when they heard this. They knew this was their area of expertise. "Don't worry, leave it to us." Kevin patted his chest, his voice steady and powerful, "We will be responsible for alerting the surrounding dangers and ensuring everyone's safety."

Feng Wuhen nodded, his gaze as sharp as a hawk's, as if he could detect any potential threats. "I'll always keep an eye on my surroundings, and if there's any sign of trouble, I'll alert everyone immediately."

After making sufficient preparations, the expedition team and the elemental elves embarked on a journey deep into the unknown area of the mine. They walked along the winding tunnels, each step full of caution and vigilance.

The uncharted territory of the mine proved even more mysterious and dangerous than they had imagined. Ancient runes and patterns were carved into the stone walls of the tunnel, as if recording the mine's long history and secrets. A repressive atmosphere permeated the air, leaving people feeling tense and uneasy.

"Everyone be careful, there may be unknown dangers hidden here." Yun Yi warned, his eyes scanning the surroundings, trying to find any possible threats.

Everyone became even more alert upon hearing this. They moved forward cautiously, each step filled with caution and care. Arya walked in front, her fingers lightly touching the runes on the stone wall, trying to find a clue to decipher the code.

"Found it!" Arya suddenly exclaimed, her finger stopping on a seemingly insignificant rune. "This rune should be the key to cracking it!"

Everyone gathered around. Arya took a deep breath and began to silently chant an ancient spell. As she chanted, the runes on the stone wall began to glow brightly.

"Boom!" A loud noise echoed, and the runes on the stone wall suddenly exploded. A powerful wave of energy swept over, causing everyone to feel a palpitation. However, when they looked forward again, they found that the path that had been blocked by the runes had suddenly opened up.

"We succeeded!" Kevin cheered, his face filled with joy and excitement. He knew that they were one step closer to lifting the curse.

"But this is just the beginning." Yun Yi reminded, his eyes still solemn, "The real challenge is still ahead. We must be more careful."

Everyone nodded in agreement. They knew the journey ahead would be even more difficult and dangerous. But as long as they united as one, nothing could stop them. And so, they set out on their journey once again, heading towards the deepest depths of the mine. What challenges and opportunities awaited them there? No one knew. But one thing was certain: they would fight alongside the elementals to protect this home that belonged to them.
